Abacus SBA LLC is a Colorado-based public accounting/CFO Advisory firm that specializes in providing back-office support for solopreneurs, owner-operators, and 1099 independent contractors with a strong focus on construction/building trades and creators & makers. However, we help all kinds of small business owners!
We offer flat-rate accounting and advisory services to help business owners access the tools and information they need to run and grow their small businesses efficiently.
Your accountant is an integral part of your business. They should understand how you operate and what your short & long term goals are - then help you achieve them. ASBA's ideal client is serious about growing their business - not one looking for tax deductions for their hobby.

For clients who have no bookkeeping systems in place we have two options - annual or monthly support. The cost savings come with annual support but we understand some clients may not be ready/able to commit financially to the annual plan. Pricing for both is detailed below. Accounts are billed in advance; no refunds or credits for cancellations. Valid credit/bank account must be on file or account will not be serviced and late fees are applied.
For clients who are changing bookkeepers and have a QBO account (migration from QBD available) we have two options - Annual or monthly support. There will always be clean up when switching firms so there is an up-front cost for this service. Payroll tax, income tax and sales tax corrections are billed separately.
For clients who have tried DIY accounting and need professional assistance moving forward. In-depth review, analysis and account edits to accurately report mid-year and year-end financials and transition to flat-rate service offerings listed above.
Payroll is only offered to CO businesses with <5 employees who are active bookkeeping clients. Packages include scheduling tax payments & report filings. Direct deposit only. Payroll is completed in ADP Wholesale Platform only. Client does not have the ability to self-process. Tax notices are billed separately.
ASBA can file local COS city and CO state sales taxes on your behalf. Set-up includes accurate review & maintenance of products & services to ensure compliance with local and state agencies. Sales tax maintenance in other jurisdictions may not be available and will incur additional fees. Account set-up fees may apply. Tax notices are billed separately.
The following are not included in the packages above but can be added for additional fees. 1099s processed outside of QBO are billed individually.
ASBA does not file taxes. However, we do partner with local tax professionals and are happy to work with your preferred tax partner if we service your bookkeeping accounts.
Base prices listed herein may incur additional fees. Final engagement pricing to be determined after in-depth account review. Engagements are for 1-year regardless of date engaged. Disengaged accounts are subject to a $350.00 cancellation/transfer fee. Monthly amount is to be paid in full prior to account servicing. Monthly & year-end financials are not available for delinquent accounts. Electronic Accountant-access to bank, credit & liability accounts is required.
